“Humor” like this, this is why women still get spoken down to and treated like they’re a strange novelty for being into fantasy and scifi. I’m not here for cuteness (though there’s nothing wrong with liking that aspect too). I’m here for the political intrigue and asskicking and the personal drama of it all. Hey so remember the time my friend and I got sexually harassed and humiliated on Twitter after we beat some dudebros at a trivia contest?

Maybe it’s because I’ve had a long day and I’m really exhausted, but I am tired of the bullshit in this fandom. We won a Hand of the King pin at the contest which my teammates very kindly let me keep but I don’t even want to wear it because it reminds me of how such a good experience was ruined by entitled assholes who assume that because we’re women we like the series in a different, less significant way.
